My values
I can relate to the Boy Scout Oath and Kaizen when I think about my values.
My son has been a Cub Scout and a Boy Scout since 2015. I like the simple idea of striving to be physically strong, mentally awake, and morally straight. The power lies in its simplicity and focus.
In business, I study and practice Kaizen.
Kaizen (改善, かいぜん).
"The Japanese word kaizen means "change for better". Kaizen is a concept referring to business activities that continuously improve all functions and involve all employees from the CEO to the assembly line workers.The word refers to any improvement, one-time or continuous, large or small. Kaizen was first practiced in Japanese businesses after World War II, influenced in part by American business and quality-management teachers, and most notably as part of The Toyota Way."
